The team comprising Optinvent has accumulated rare know how in the field of display optics. This has allowed them to develop proven, leading edge, patented technologies in the field of optical systems for next generation display devices. These solutions are based on systems using microdisplays (small high definition electronic displays which pixelize the image to be projected). Several microdisplay technologies exist such as OLED, LCoS, DLP, and HTPS; Optinvent is able to use any one of these technologies for the projection optics system. The same applies to light sources where several technologies exist, among them are UHP and Xenon lamps, LED’s, and Laser; Optinvent has expertise to design illumination systems using all of these technologies. Optinvent’s strength is its ability to use any existing microdisplay and light source technology in order to deliver an optimized projection system adapted to the customer’s specification.
